guitar noob looking online for an acoustic guitar. please give some advice?

i live in switzerland and everything is ridiculously overpriced in my city, so i was looking on amazon.com for acoustic guitars.

heeere are the questions:
- why is this guitar so cheap?

what could be wrong or bad quality about it? cheap wood? bad sound?

- do i really need a left handed guitar if i'm left handed? i eat and write with my left hand, all the right one does is click the mouse. but i used to play the piano with both hands so the right one isn't that bad. the left one is just the strongest, i think.

- would you recommend this guitar?

if it doesn't say which hand it's meant to be played with do i assume it's for righties?

As a guitar teacher I've had the chance to teach a couple of left-handed students. It is not strictly necessary to play a left-handed guitar but if you purchase a right-handed guitar you may have to take it to someone to have it set up.

I would recommend that you search for a lefty guitar and avoid the hassle. MusiciansFriend.com is a good place to look. I believe one of my students had a Washburn acoustic that was left-handed. I think fender also makes a left-handed squier strat which is a good guitar for the money.

Unless it says left, assume it's a right-handed guitar.

I own a Taylor and I love it. They are fantastic guitars but I wouldn't recommend buying one to start with since they are so expensive.
